The Runaways in Ely, Cambridgeshire on 21st August 2005
The Runaways played an outdoor gig for the residents at the
Sue Ryder Care Home.
They were privileged to have Charlie Hall attend as their guest of honour.

Charlie is a man much admired and respected by many instrumental musicians.
He has faithfully recreated the old
Shadows’ echoes for use with modern technology, thus enabling musicians to produce a truly authentic Shadows’ sound.
Charlie also played a major role in designing the K.C.P. Amp pictured below
that was actually built for and used by Hank Marvin.
The K.C.P. Amp has proved a very popular choice for many
Shadows tribute bands, including The Runaways.
Charlie has also made some customised programmes for Tim
to match the delay/chorus settings from his Roland 301.
The Runaways are indebted to Charlie for his invaluable help and advice
and are glad to have had this opportunity to express their gratitude to him
both personally and publicly.
